FINE FREE FEBRUARY!

We are joining with all the other Oswego County Public Libraries to announce FINE FREE FEBRUARY!!!

Return overdue library books, DVDs, etc. during the month of February 2013 Fine Free! All we are asking is that you bring a non-perishable food item for our local food pantry for each item returned. It's WIN-WIN-WIN! You pay no fines, we get our books back and the food pantry gets some much needed donations!

Please note: this offer does not apply to old fines for which items have already been returned or to lost books. In order to qualify for fine amnesty,                 you must return the item!

Pass this on, it's a great opportunity to dig out those old overdue books!

Open Art at the library is an opportunity for adults to express themselves using watercolor or acrylic paints, pencils or pastels.

This is a free program that runs through the winter; no registration required. Art materials, reference photos and a still life are provided each time so all you have to do is bring your creative muse for a relaxing and fun time shared with like-minded people.

There is no instructor but tips and encouragement are shared. This program is made possible by a grant from the Cultural Resources Council of Syracuse. For more information please phone Karen Ringwald at 963-1466.
